Are you a Business Development Manager or similar from a Commercial Vehicle parts background looking for a dynamic role where you will have the autonomy to manage your own desk within the UK subsidiary of a global leading brand who work with major blue-chip companies across the UK and offer a range of progression opportunities and bonuses to increase your earnings?

This leading company provide a range of parts, safety equipment and other key automotive components for a diverse client base ranging from local authorities to haulage companies and major waste providers such as Biffa. Due to an ever increasing workload they are looking to grow their UK team of 12.

In this varied role you will undertake a range of new Business Development (70%) and Account Management (30%) as you focus on identifying new leads, building pipelines and liaison with customers and suppliers. You will have the autonomy to manage your own desk, as you cover sites across the Central Belt, primarily Glasgow- with aims of expanding across the Central Belt.

The Role:

  • Collaborate with Sales Manager to maximize new product and parts sales
  • Business Development (70%) and Account Management (30%)
  • Identify and approach potential customers, fostering strong client relationships
  • Stay informed about industry trends for identifying new business opportunities
  • Travel to sites across Scotland – Company Vehicle provided
  • Clear progression structure to management

The Person:

  • Business Development Manager or similar
  • Commercial Vehicle Parts background
  • Full Driving Licence – happy to travel
  • Commutable to Glasgow
