Are you a Manufacturing Engineer or similar with an Automotive / Aerospace background, looking to play an integral role within a globally leading manufacturer, with a competitive package, autonomy to make your mark on the department and a variety of technically exciting projects?
As part of a small team of manufacturing engineers, you will be responsible for the body construction facility. You will plan and implement manufacturing process, that achieve quality, cost and delivery targets. You will integrate the appropriate tools, jigs and fixtures to ensure delivery quality and targets are met.
The company are a globally leading OEM and have a fantastic reputation for the quality of what they manufacture. Year on year they have continued to play an integral role in the market and off the back of recent developments, are looking towards a bright and profitable future.
This role would suit a Manufacturing Engineer or similar from Automotive or Aerospace, looking to work on a variety of technical projects for a prestigious manufacturer that they would be proud to represent.
The Role:
- To produce detailed Process Operation sheets including visual aids, torque & tooling detail, quality requirements and safety info
- Working with Logistics & Facilities Engineers to determine efficient station layouts including modifications to existing facilities, racking & part presentation requirements
- Integrate tools, jigs and fixtures to ensure quality and cost targets are met
The Person:
- Manufacturing Engineer from Automotive or Aerospace background
- Experienced in working with jigs and fixtures
