Are you a Quality Technician, Laboratory Technician, or Materials Testing professional looking to join a UK-leading manufacturer supplying precision-engineered polymer components to the aerospace, defence, energy, and advanced engineering sectors worldwide?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected manufacturer at the forefront of precision polymer machining, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring product quality through laboratory testing, inspection, and continuous improvement activities.

In this role, you’ll manage and operate the materials testing laboratory, carrying out a range of mechanical and material tests on raw materials, work-in-progress components, and finished products.

The ideal candidate will have experience within a laboratory, quality, materials testing, or manufacturing environment, with an interest in materials science, polymers, or engineering products.

The Role:

• Operating and managing the Materials Testing Laboratory
• Conducting tensile, hardness, density, elongation, and DSC testing
• Preparing test specimens and operating laboratory equipment
• Managing calibration schedules and laboratory records
• Assisting with root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects

The Person:

• Experience within Quality, Laboratory Testing, Materials Testing, or Manufacturing Quality
• Background in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field beneficial
