Technical Sales Manager (Scientific Instrumentation)

UK Wide / Remote

Up to £95,000 + Car Allowance + Remote + Pension + Additional Leave + Health & Wellbeing Programme

Are you a Scientific Sales Manager, Instrumentation Specialist, Laboratory Equipment Sales Engineer or similar looking to join a growing technology-led organisation where you can expand your expertise into the radiological instrumentation sector?

Do you want to utilise your experience selling scientific products and services while receiving specialist training on radiation detection technologies, calibration services and managed service solutions within a highly technical industry?

On offer is the opportunity to join a market-leading provider of radiological products and services, where you will leverage your scientific and technical sales experience to develop new business opportunities and grow strategic customer relationships.

In this role, you will work with research facilities, laboratories, universities, industrial organisations and technical end users, delivering tailored solutions involving instrumentation, calibration, maintenance and compliance services.

This role would suit someone from a scientific instrumentation, laboratory technology, analytical equipment or technical sales background looking to enter a specialist and growing market sector.

The role:

  • Develop new business opportunities across scientific and industrial markets
  • Grow strategic customer accounts
  • Manage quotations, tenders and commercial proposals
  • Promote instrumentation, calibration and service contracts
  • Work closely with technical experts and service teams
  • Attend industry events, demonstrations and customer meetings
  • Hybrid working with UK and International travel

The person:

  • Scientific instrumentation or laboratory technology background
  • Technical sales or business development experience
  • Experience selling products and services
  • Strong technical aptitude and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to work within regulated environments
  • Full UK Driving Licence
