On offer is the exciting opportunity for a Software Test Engineer to join a leading software business as they continue to experience on-going success with their products. Now looking to push their product range and start selling on the open market, they need to look towards building their own in house Software Testing department?

In this role, the successful Software Test Engineer will be responsible for assisting the highly skilled team in testing their Software and Android/iOS apps. As the first person in the business to start within the new and focused Software Test team, you will have an excellent opportunity to progress into a Team Leader or Management position as the business continue to grow and push more products out to market.

The ideal Software Test Engineer specialist will have a prior experience of working within a similar role and testing software products, be local to Stoke-on-Trent and keen to work in a very techy, software environment with like minded people.

The Role:

• Collaborate closely with Software Developers.
• Exposure to other technologies like C#, .NET, Xamarin, Android/iOS and more.
• Execute all levels of software testing, manual testing, test scripts.
• Stress testing and user documentation for “help” feature.
• Full training on gaps in knowledge.

The Person:

• Technically minded.
• Commercial software test experience
• Happy to learn new techs.
• Progression to management.
• Local to Stoke-on-Trent.
