In this role you will be providing a technical lead and oversight on projects requiring mechanical design input on various pumps, hydraulics, pipes and networks. You will be ensuring compliance with project standards whilst checking, commenting and approving designs and solutions carried out by contractors and your team of engineers.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer from an industrial background looking to step into their next senior role within a company where progression is limitless.

THE ROLE

• Undertaking line management responsibility for a small team of mechanical engineers
• Completing and supporting on any necessary design activities (using SolidWorks & AutoCAD) to meet technical standards ensuring the outcome is efficient to build, commission, operate, maintain, and dismantle
• Preparing design, tender, contract and as built documentation whilst working collaboratively with the wider engineering team and supply chain partners
• Providing technical advice to other parts of the business including contractors and undertaking post construction snagging

THE PERSON

• Mechanical Engineering Degree or Similar
• Industrial experience essential
