Are you an experienced maintenance engineer with a background in food manufacturing, looking for an autonomous and varied role within an industry leading business, whilst maintaining a brilliant work / life balance and where you have clear progression to management?

Your day to day will be a mixture between reactive maintenance and PPM on broad range of machinery throughout the factory. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you’ll be using your expertise to play a leading part in troubleshooting, fault finding and providing BRC documentation when necessary.

This role would suit an experienced production engineer with a background in the food industry, looking to take up a pivotal role within a well-established and expanding company.

The Role:

• Conducting fault finding diagnosis/repairs on all equipment and plant machinery, both electrical and mechanically
• Proactive planning of the site PM schedule, through daily morning meeting visibility, highlighting key service/planning requirements and actions towards delivering them
• Providing engineering support to the production teams to ensure maximum line efficiency
• Maintaining a PPM system to an extremely high standard ensuring smooth production operations
• Monday – Friday (10am-7pm)

The Person:

• Production/manufacturing experience within the food industry essential
• Experience with SOP’s & Audits essential
