Are you a Health and Safety Advisor, Officer or similar with experience doing risk assessments looking to join a large manufacturer, implementing change and managing various H&S related projects within a 4 day working week?
Are you looking for a 6 month fixed term contract to gain valuable experience in a long-standing manufacturing environment, helping you develop and improve your H&S knowledge for the future?
In this site based role you will assist with the day-to-day management of the HSE systems, including conducting risk assessments, toolbox talks, and accident investigations. There will be initial training to get you up to speed with the business processes, along with training given on Environmental if needed.
This design and manufacturing company were established over 50 years ago and distribute globally to the construction, agriculture, and materials handling sectors. They boast a turnover of more than £50 million and due to exponential growth are looking to bolster their team.
This role would suit someone from a Health and Safety background looking to upskill themselves in a 6 month contract, in a varied and dynamic role working only 4 days a week.
The Role:
- Assisting with the management of H&S procedures
- Conducting risk assessments, toolbox talks, and accident investigations
- Monday to Thursday, 7am – 5:15pm
The Person:
- Health and Safety Advisor, Officer, Coordinator or similar
- Experience conducting risk assessments
- Looking for a 6 month contract
