Are you an experienced Electronics Engineer with experience of analogue and digital circuit design looking to work for a forward-thinking world-leading manufacturer supplying into some of the most prestigious clients globally?

As a Senior Electronics Engineer you will take responsibility for the design and development of electrical and electronic components. Designing and developing state of the art electronic products and solutions for the next generation of defence and instrumentation systems.

You will have Experience with microcontroller-based circuit design and embedded software and some experience or knowledge of FPGA based circuit design and HDL would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Senior electronics engineering role to work on military, instrumentation and acoustic systems.
  • Candidate should have demonstrable experience and specific expertise in analogue and digital circuit design preferably in a product development environment.
  • The work will involve mixed signal design including pre-amplifiers, filters, power supplies, interfacing and analog-digital conversion for precision instrumentation applications. Designs should be safe and be compliant with product standards and legal requirements.
  • Experience with microcontroller-based circuit design and embedded software essential.
  • Some experience or knowledge of FPGA based circuit design and HDL is desirable.
  • The candidate will be expected to work independently on any task or overseeing a team contributing to all aspects of the product development cycle from requirement analysis through design & development, prototyping and into production.
  • Candidate will be responsible for initiating investigations and corrective actions for design failures or non-performance.
  • Candidate would be responsible for ensuring that test rigs, instrumentation, prototypes and laboratory practices are constructed or undertaken in a safe manner.

The person:

  • Considerable Electronics Engineering experience and a UK citizen who is suitable for security clearance
