Are you an Electronics Design Engineer, with experience of Analog and DSP design, seeking a senior role, for a cutting edge manufacturer of specialist products for pipelines, subsea and topside, where you will develop market-leading technologies, as part of a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary R&D team working on bespoke projects with the ability to fully utilise your skills and experience?

Are you looking to develop ground-breaking electronics and firmware for new and existing products, and bespoke client applications, with the autonomy and flexibility to define and refine the company’s range of products and procedures, directly adding value to a technological leader, which has set numerous industry standards, bringing seminal products to markets and solving some of the industries most complex challenges?

You will be a key member of a small R&D team of dedicated mechanical / electronic / firmware engineers, developing electronics and firmware for new, and existing products and bespoke client requirements. You will design new products, from concept to in field operation.

The role:

• Develop circuit schematics, simulations and PCB layouts
• Microcontroller and DSP programming
• Create specifications, proposals, test plans, reports and manuals
• ATEX/IECEx/UKEx accreditations
• Improve current products and processes
• Work on a rolling range of bespoke projects for clients

The person:

• Electronics Design Engineer
• DSP design and development experience
• C / C++
• Understanding of sensors, data gathering and distribution of data
