Are you a design engineer, with any experience in heavy industry, looking to take the next step in your career into a management position, within a growing business which will support you with tailored training to support your progression and continued development?

Do you want to develop your skills in a technically challenging role, where you will be designing bespoke heavy machinery for a wide variety of clients internationally?

Established over 40 years ago, they have recently taken on new contracts for international clients and are now looking for a Design Engineer to help the company grow and keep up with demand.

You will be responsible for managing large projects from concept to completion, liasing with clients to understand their needs and using CAD software to design or modify existing design to meet those needs. You will also be responsible for looking into design factors such as operational efficiency, material use and cost.

The Role

• Management of projects from conception to completion
• Use of CAD software to design bespoke machinery
• Overseeing internal processes such as bill of materials
• Monday to Friday – Early finish Friday

The Person

• Design Engineer or similar
• Heavy industry engineering background
