Are you a Senior Transport Planner from the HGV industry looking for an autonomous, role where you will play a key part in managing fleet within a long-established logistics company?

For over 50 years, this company has been delivering specialist haulage solutions to the construction industry through its nationwide fleet of flatbed HGVs. Due to continued growth and increasing demand, they are looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Transport Planner.

In this office-based role, you will be responsible for overseeing the effective planning and allocation of transport resources to ensure operational efficiency and compliance standards are consistently maintained. You will work closely with drivers, customers, subcontractors, and internal departments to coordinate workloads, resolve operational issues, and maximise fleet utilisation.

This role would suit an experienced Transport Planner from an HGV background looking for a technically involved and commercially focused role within a well-established business.

The Role

• Plan and allocate transport resources to maintain operational performance and compliance
• Coordinate HGV movements and manage day-to-day fleet scheduling
• Liaise with drivers regarding workload allocation, issue resolution, and debriefs
