Do you have a level 3 Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification? Are you looking to build a long-term career in a stable, days-based role within an established industrial machinery company, working on bespoke engineering projects?

This UK engineering company designs and builds custom machinery to help manufacturers improve their production processes. Established in the 1970s, they have a strong reputation for reliable, well-built equipment and long-term customer relationships. They work with a wide range of industries, including packaging, paper, automotive, and general manufacturing, delivering practical, high-quality engineering solutions.

In this role you will be trained to build and assemble bespoke machinery, manufacture and prepare parts, and support fitting and repair work across a range of engineering projects. You will work closely with experienced engineers, reading 2D CAD drawings and supporting the full build process from fabrication through to final assembly. Based in Witham – Mon-Fri – 07:45 – 16:15.

The role would suit a Trainee Engineer, Fitter, or someone with hands-on engineering experience looking to develop their skills in a supportive, workshop-based environment.

The Role:
Build and assemble bespoke industrial machinery with training
Assist with manufacturing, preparing, and fitting parts
Support repair, maintenance, and fitting work
Learn to read and work from 2D CAD drawings
Work on varied, one-off engineering projects
Monday – Friday, days-based role (07:45 – 16:15), Witham

The Person:

Mechanical or Electrical qualification (Level 3)
Some experience using tools, assembly, or working in a workshop environment
Willingness to learn and develop hands-on engineering skills
Commutable to Witham
