In this role, the successful Technical Sales/Mechanical Engineer or similar will work to promote the sale of the company’s products to clients and distributors across the UK and EU. In addition, you will also be responsible for preparing both technical specifications and proposals alongside quotations. On top of this, you will also be responsible for providing both technical support and guidance where applicable, as well as reviewing both customer requirements and technical drawings when needed. Finally, you will develop maintain repeat business, as well as drive new business opportunities to further expand client accounts.

The ideal Technical Sales Engineer will come from a background within the Manufacturing/Fabrication/Mechanical Engineering sector or a related field. In addition, you will ideally have a technical knowledge of Pressure Vessels, Fuel Tanks, Refining Kettles and/or Stainless Steel or Carbon Industrial Equipment. On top of this, you will have strong organisational, communicational and presentation skills. Finally, you will hold a full, valid UK driver’s license.

The Role:

• Drive new business, whilst maintaining both client and distributor relationships
• Providing both technical support and guidance
• Reviewing both customer requirements and technical drawings when needed

The Person:

• Background within Manufacturing/Fabrication/Mechanical Engineering sector or a related field
• Technical knowledge of Pressure Vessels, Fuel Tanks, Refining Kettles and/or Stainless Steel or Carbon Industrial Equipment
• Full, valid UK driver’s license
