Are you a Senior Maritime Engineer with consultancy design experience looking to take ownership of major marine infrastructure projects while helping shape the future of a rapidly growing engineering business?

On offer is the chance to join a growing specialist consultancy delivering innovative solutions across a diverse range of maritime and coastal infrastructure projects. Working closely with the Directors, you will lead projects from concept through to implementation while influencing both technical delivery and business growth.

In this role, you will oversee the design and delivery of marine infrastructure schemes, manage client relationships, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior engineers. Projects include marinas, ship berths, flood defence schemes, coastal infrastructure, and renewable energy developments.

This role would suit a Maritime Engineer from a consultancy background looking for autonomy, leadership responsibility, and the opportunity to influence the direction of a growing business.

The Role:

• Lead maritime infrastructure projects from feasibility through detailed design and implementation.
• Develop innovative engineering solutions across marine and coastal environments.
• Manage client relationships and act as the technical lead on projects.
• Oversee project budgets, programmes, and commercial performance.
• Support business development activities and contribute to winning new work.
  Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team.

The Person:

• Experience within an engineering consultancy environment.
  Strong technical design experience relating to maritime, coastal, marine, or heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering projects through concept, detailed design, and construction implementation phases.
• Civil or Structural Engineering Degree (or similar).
• Commutable to Portsmouth
