Are you an ambitious Sales professional, with a knowledge of Electrical motors, looking for the opportunity to take full ownership of a territory and work to build out new business?

Do you enjoy picking up the phone, getting in front of customers and finding opportunities within industrial, engineering and technical markets, while having the backing of an established European manufacturer and experienced technical team?

The company are an established European manufacturer specialising in electric motors, gearboxes, inverters and control panels.

With manufacturing and Head Office operations based in Portugal, the business combines European manufacturing expertise with strong product availability and responsive customer service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who wants the autonomy to build a territory in their own way.

The Role:

• Take full ownership of the Midlands sales territory and develop a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
• Identify, prospect and approach new customers across industrial, engineering and technical markets
• Generate new business through telephone prospecting, customer visits, networking and proactive market development
• Build relationships with decisionmakers and key stakeholders at all levels
• Conduct face-to-face customer meetings to understand requirements and identify sales opportunities
• Develop existing company accounts and increase the company’s share of customer spend

The Person:

• Background in B2B sales, business development or territory sales
• Experience in industrial, engineering, electrical, mechanical or technical sales
