Are you a Quantity Surveyor from a Building Services or MEP background looking to work on a diverse portfolio of high-value projects, where you’ll have full autonomy, hybrid working, and the opportunity to influence commercial decisions from day one?

This well-established Building Services contractor has been delivering high-quality Mechanical and Electrical projects since 1963. Working across the Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Life Sciences, Heritage, Hospitality and Residential sectors, they have built an outstanding reputation for delivering complex projects throughout the UK and Ireland. Following continued growth, they are expanding their Manchester operation and are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in their future success.

In this role, you will take full commercial responsibility for Building Services projects from contract award through to final account. You will prepare valuations, manage variations, produce cost reports and forecasts, oversee subcontract procurement and payments, and work closely with project teams and clients to ensure projects are delivered profitably and efficiently. You’ll work on a varied portfolio of high-value Mechanical and Electrical projects while receiving ongoing support to progress into senior commercial or management positions.

This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor with a Building Services or MEP background looking to work on complex, high-value projects while developing their career within a growing contractor that invests heavily in its people.

The Role:

• Manage the commercial delivery of Building Services projects from contract award through to final account
• Prepare valuations, measure completed works and assess project variations
• Produce cost reports, forecasts and cost value reconciliations
• Procure and manage subcontractor packages, payments and commercial relationships
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and project teams to maximise project profitability
• Work on multimillion-pound Mechanical and Electrical projects across a range of sectors

The Person:

• Quantity Surveyor
• Building Services or MEP background
• Experience with valuations, variations, subcontract management and final accounts
• Commutable to Manchester and willing to travel to project sites
