This company manufactures high precision components and machined parts for the aerospace industry, looking after their staff through a range of benefits whilst also supporting their growth through in-house and outsourced training.

In this role you will be responsible for conducting inspections, performing precision measurements using micrometres, callipers and gauges, and working closely with engineering team to maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and related documents.

This role would suit someone who has a background working in an ISO9001 environment as a Quality Inspector who is looking for company benefits and working with high precision manufacturing.

The Role:

• Identify and document defects
• Maintain accurate records of inspections
• Early finish Fridays
• In house and outsourced training opportunities
• Conduct inspections, test on components, sub-assemblies, and finished products
• Perform precision measurements using micrometres

The Person:

• Quality Inspector or similar
• Worked in ISO9001 environment
• Mechanical background
• Skilled in interpret drawings, specifications, dimensions, and tolerances
• Commutable to Basildon
