Are you a Quality Engineer from a manufacturing background looking for a varied and interesting role where you’ll be working across all areas of quality within an exiting, on-demand manufacturing aerospace business?

This is an innovative company at the forefront of advanced composite manufacturing. Established in 2010, they specialise in design-for-manufacture tooling and precision composite components for the Aerospace, Defence, Medical, and Cryogenics sectors. With plans to double turnover within 3 – 5 years, they offer a clear and exciting future for the right candidate.

In this role you will be helping to improve quality across the board within an on-demand precision engineering environment who work with composites. You will be working alongside other Quality Engineers and the Quality manager to inspect incoming goods, maintain AS9100 accreditation, critical dimension checking and improve issues through RCA and PFMEA’s.

This role would suit a Quality Engineer from a manufacturing background looking to work across all areas of quality for a busy and growing aerospace business.

The Role:

  • Working to and maintaining AS9100 / ISO9001 standards
  • Critical dimension inspection using tools and CMM
  • Conducting Root Cause Analysis & Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
  • Working with the wider quality team and Quality Manager
  • Inspecting goods for non-conformities
