In this varied role, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling manufacturing components, cabling and soldering electrical systems, maintaining and operating 3D printers, and supporting the build and testing of RC aircraft and prototype products. You will also assist with workshop organisation, troubleshooting, and day-to-day prototype development activities.

This exciting opportunity is ideal for a Prototype Technician or similar looking to join a dynamic and supportive team. The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, performance bonus, and company share scheme.

The Role

• Preparing and assembling prototype and manufacturing components.
• Cabling, wiring, and soldering electrical systems.
• Operating and maintaining 3D printers.
• Building, testing, and maintaining RC aircraft and RC systems.
• Supporting prototype development and workshop activities.

The Person

• Experience with cabling and soldering, alongside hands-on practical engineering or manufacturing experience.
• Background in RC modelling or building RC aircraft.
• Experience using and maintaining 3D printers.
• Commutable to Southampton.
