Are you an experienced HGV or Plant Fitter with a strong mechanical background, looking for a hands-on role where you can utilise your skills across a range of vehicles and heavy plant?

Do you have experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing HGVs, plant, or similar heavy equipment, and want to join an established business offering a stable, long-term position?

This established business specialises in the operation and maintenance of HGVs, vehicles, and plant equipment. Due to continued requirements within their fleet, they are looking to add an experienced HGV & Plant Fitter to their team based in Middlesbrough.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled servicing, inspections, maintenance, and repairs across a range of HGVs, vehicles, and plant equipment. You will diagnose faults, complete repairs to manufacturer specifications, and ensure all equipment is maintained to a high standard.

The Role:

• Carry out scheduled service inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults across HGVs, vehicles, and plant equipment
• Maintain and repair a range of heavy plant and fleet equipment
• Complete quality checks on finished work to ensure equipment meets required standards
• Ensure all maintenance is carried out in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications
• Maintain plant, vehicles, and equipment in good working order
• Report faults and issues promptly
• Ensure all work is completed in line with company Health & Safety and Environmental procedures

The Person:

• HGV Fitter, Plant Fitter, Heavy Vehicle Technician, or similar background
• Strong mechanical maintenance and repair experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
