Are you a Workshop Engineer from a Mechanical and Electrical background looking for a mix between workshop and field-based work, where you will cover a national patch, within a thriving company offering excellent progression opportunities to lead engineering and managerial positions?

In this role you will cover a national patch and be responsible for servicing rail depot equipment. This will range from pumps, motors, bearings, control and fuel systems and air compressor systems. It will be a varied role with a mix of workshop and field based work.

This long-standing company have been operating for over 4 decades and specialise in the maintenance of rail depots and air compressor equipment. They have become well regarded by their blue-chip clientele all over the UK and pride themselves on their high quality of work and staff retention.

This role would suit a Workshop Engineer looking for a mix between a workshop and mobile position, with ample progression opportunities to management and further training opportunities to enhance your skillset.

The Role:

• Servicing a variety of rail depots and air compressors all over the UK
• Mechanical and electrical repairs on motors, pumps, bearings, vacuums, control and fuel systems
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. Overtime available at 1.5x
• On call rota 1 in 7 weeks. Bonus received for any call outs paid at overtime rate
