Are you a Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer, HGV Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, or with strong mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic skills, looking to move into a field-based role working on a wide range of modern construction machinery?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company as a Plant Fitter, where you will receive full specialist training and ongoing development. You’ll work on a variety of equipment including excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, loaders and other construction plant, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs.

You’ll work across a local patch, servicing and repairing heavy plant equipment, with door-to-door pay, overtime opportunities, a company vehicle and fuel card, alongside a strong focus on first-time fixes and customer satisfaction. Due to continued expansion, the company is looking to recruit a motivated Plant Fitter to support customers across Reading, Slough and the wider M4 corridor.

This role would suit a Plant Fitter, Agricultural Technician, Agricultural Engineer, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, or similar looking for a rewarding field-based position with excellent training, career progression and earning potential.

The Role

• Service, maintain and repair excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, loaders and other construction plant.
• Diagnose and repair faults across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and electronic systems.
• Attend customer breakdowns and carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Complete inspections, servicing and repairs both on-site and at customer locations.

The Person

• Experience as a Plant Fitter, Agricultural Technician, Agricultural Engineer, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or similar.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills, with electrical and/or hydraulic experience highly beneficial.
• Based around Basingstoke, Winchester or Petersfield
