Are you an M&E Estimator or Quantity Surveyor looking for a role where you can take ownership of projects from initial tender through to final account? Would you like to manage your own portfolio of projects, work closely with experienced senior management and develop your commercial career?

On offer is the opportunity to join an established building services contractor in a role offering real responsibility, regular mentoring and the opportunity to progress into senior commercial management. You will manage the commercial side of mechanical and electrical installation projects valued between £100k and £1.5m, with support from the Head of Projects as you develop your expertise.

In this role, you will price new projects, prepare tenders and manage project finances, including budgets, procurement, variations, applications for payment and final accounts. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, clients and subcontractors to monitor costs, protect profit margins and ensure projects remain commercially on track.

This role would suit an M&E Estimator or Quantity Surveyor with experience pricing and commercially managing building services projects, looking to take the next step into a position with greater autonomy, responsibility and long-term career development.

The Role:

• Price M&E installation projects valued between £100k and £1.5m, preparing costings and tender submissions.
• Manage project budgets, procurement, cash flow and profit margins from tender through to final account.
• Price and negotiate variations, manage applications for payment and maintain accurate financial reports.
• Monday-Friday, hybrid working with a minimum of three days per week in the Dartford office, plus site visits as required.

The Person:

• Qualified in Quantity Surveying, Estimating or a related commercial discipline, through a degree, HNC/HND, apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Experience estimating and managing the commercial side of M&E installation projects.
• Knowledge of project budgets, variations, applications for payment and commercial contracts such as JCT or NEC.
