You will be part of a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering team responsible for maintaining world-class attractions to the highest safety standards.
In this role, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, safety inspections, and repairs across rides and park equipment. You will also play a key role in the annual winter maintenance and certification programme, ensuring full compliance with HSE guidance and statutory requirements. The role operates on a 5-day rota including weekends, with a 1 in 5 call-out system and regular overtime available.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Mechanical Engineer with strong fault-finding skills, a solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and the confidence to work at height and in confined spaces within a safety-critical environment.
The Role:
* Planned and reactive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on rides and mechanical equipment.
* Participation in winter overhaul and certification programmes, including statutory record keeping.
* Working safely at height and responding to ride shutdowns as part of a shift rota.
The Person:
* Time-served Mechanical Engineer with NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / BTEC / ONC or equivalent.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and schematic drawings.
* Comfortable working at height, completing risk assessments, and operating within strict H&S guidelines.
