Are you a Maintenance Engineer from an ex-forces background or similar, looking for a 3-shift role within a market leading company that will value your development through in-house training on PLCs and fully funded external electrical courses?

In this role you will be responsible for keeping production lines operational, with the overall maintenance of automation and metal manufacturing machinery. This will involve both mechanical and electrical maintenance on motors, gearboxes, sensors and control panels on a 3-shift rotation.

This company has been operational since the 1950s, specialising in the niche production of specialist materials, supplying heavily into the aerospace, automotive and chemical industries and are vital for their continued operation.

This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer with mechanical and some electrical experience from an ex-forces background or similar looking for a 3-shift role, with full internal training on electrical systems including PLCs.

The Role:

• Maintenance of automation and manufacturing machinery
• Fault finding and maintaining gearboxes, motors, sensors, panels and PLCs
• 3 shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am, rotating weekly
• Overtime available at time ½ on weekdays and double Sunday
• Fully funded qualifications such as level 3 NVQ
