Are you a LOLER certified Inspector, who has experience in the construction industry, looking for a varied role where you can utilise your technical expertise and develop your career within equipment inspection and compliance?

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor with over 30 years of experience delivering major construction and infrastructure projects across the South of England.

The company specialises in site development, bulk excavations, drainage, road construction and structural groundworks, working alongside leading developers and contractors.

You will be responsible for carrying out inspections of lifting equipment and workplace machinery in accordance with LOLER and PUWER requirements. This will involve assessing equipment condition, reviewing technical documentation, identifying defects and producing detailed inspection reports.

This is an excellent opportunity for a LOLER inspector who is looking to join a rapidly growing civil engineering company that offer full training on your PUWER skillset and offer a company van with a fuel card.

The Role

• Conduct inspections of lifting equipment and workplace machinery to assess condition and operational safety
• Examine equipment against relevant LOLER and PUWER requirements

• Identify mechanical defects, equipment deterioration and potential safety concerns

• Review inspection records, certification and supporting technical documentation

• Produce accurate inspection reports detailing findings, defects and recommended actions

• Travelling to sites across the South of England
• Monday to Friday, 7:30 – 5

The Person

• LOLER certification
• Experience working as an Inspector within the construction industry
