Are you a Quality Inspector or Quality Controller with leadership experience, looking for a role where you can take ownership of final inspection activity across multiple production areas?

On offer is the opportunity to join a specialist precision engineering business as a Lead Quality Inspector, where you will be responsible for coordinating final inspection activities across three production units, ensuring all products meet required quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will lead and organise inspection activity across multiple sites, ensuring consistent application of inspection standards, effective defect management, and accurate release of finished product, while acting as a key link between Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to maintain smooth workflow and high-quality output across all units. You will also play a key role in monitoring quality performance, driving corrective actions, supporting continuous improvement activities, and ensuring audit readiness and compliance with relevant quality systems.

This role would suit someone with experience in quality inspection or manufacturing quality control, who is confident leading inspection activity across multiple production areas and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

• Leading and coordinating inspection teams across three production units, ensuring consistent application of inspection standards and effective allocation of daily workloads and resources
• Carrying out and overseeing final inspection activities, ensuring compliance with customer, company, and regulatory requirements, and reviewing inspection records and release documentation for accuracy
• Managing defect control, non-conformance reporting, and escalation processes, including supporting root cause analysis, CAPA, and tracking key quality KPIs such as RFT, scrap, and rework
• Supporting continuous improvement and standardisation of inspection processes across all units, while ensuring inspection tools and equipment are maintained, calibrated, and fit for use

The Person:

• Experience in quality inspection or manufacturing quality control
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience (multi-line or multi-unit experience advantageous)
• Commutable to Ruislip
