Are you a Science Graduate or Junior Technologist with experience in polymers or a laboratory environment, looking to join a company that offers a bonus, 33 days holiday, and excellent training to kickstart your R&D career?

This site has a strong focus on developing high-quality innovative products and is committed to continuous improvement and sustainable manufacturing practices. Working within a supportive and close-knit team, you’ll gain hands-on experience across both laboratory and production environments, contributing to material evaluation, product performance, and new development projects.

In this role you will support R&D projects from concept through to implementation, working closely with senior technologists to develop your technical expertise in polymer applications, while helping solve real-world production and product challenges.
This role would suit someone with a science-based degree and some hands-on lab or technical experience, who is eager to learn and develop within a fast-paced and innovative environment.

The Role:
* Supporting R&D projects from inception through to implementation
* Evaluating raw materials and assisting with product development and testing
* Working alongside senior technologists on development activities
* Operating lab and pilot equipment in line with safe working practices
* Supporting production with technical insights and problem-solving
* 36.5 hours a week

The Person:
* Science-based degree
* Experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or technical environment
* Interest or exposure to polymers or material science
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
