Are you an Aspiring Engineer from a mechanical background with an interest in materials looking to join a technical materials testing business who will offer you flexible hours, private healthcare and a bonus?

On offer is the opportunity to create a prosperous career within a growing company. They work testing exotic materials for the Defence and Aerospace industries, conducting destructive and non-destructive testing.

Your role will involve the creation and testing of specimens, creation of certificates and basic report writing. This role is not your typical material testing position – you’ll be working across a wide variety of interesting and unique materials and use a multitude of different techniques.

This role would suit an aspiring engineer with either an NVQ / BTEC or experience in mechanical engineering, looking to join a business who will offer you flexibility and work life balance.

The Role

• Creation and testing of material specimens.
• Writing of reports to feedback results of the tests.
• 40 hours a week with flexible start and finish times.

The Person

• Holds a BTEC / NVQ or experience in mechanical engineering or materials science
• Keen interest in Materials and their properties
