Are you a junior Estimator from a mechanical background looking for a varied role to further develop your skills within a well-established precision engineering company offering progression, in-house training and overtime?

This company has been established for 21 years, offering bespoke profile cutting services using laser, plasma and water jet equipment and due to an ever-increasing workload, they are looking for a junior Estimator to join their 15-person team.

In this days-based role you are responsible for estimating project costs and providing project draughts in AutoCAD to engineers while collaboratively helping in the workshop with the opportunity to progress to a qualified estimator and increase your earnings through overtime.

This role would suit a junior Estimator from a mechanical background looking for a varied role offering progression through in-house training and overtime to increase your earnings.

The role

• Prepare estimates and quotations for profiling projects
• Draft projects in AutoCAD
• Process and coordinate cutting projects (laser, plasma, waterjet)
• Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday 8:00am-2:30pm + overtime

The person

• Junior Estimator or similar
• Mechanical experience
• Commute to Glengarnock
