In this role, the successful Joinery Designer or similar will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings for bespoke joinery projects. In addition, you will also be responsible for amending drawings to both client specification as well as production requirements. On top of this, you will also be responsible for coordinating with both architects, site teams and the internal production department alike, to ensure drawings are completed on time, to a high standard and that the project run smooth. Finally, you will be responsible for keeping accurate technical documentation of all projects worked.

The ideal Joinery Designer or similar will come from a background within the joinery/manufacturing/furniture making/fit-out industry or a related field, as well as having previous working experience within a CAD Technician/Cabinet Maker/Bench Joiner position or a related role. In addition, you will also have prior experience within a variety of CAD packages, ideally, but not essentially, CABINET VISION. On top of this, you will also have keen attention to detail. Finally, you will have strong communicational and organisational skills, with the ability to work both as part of a team as well as autonomously.

The Role:

  • Producing drawings
  • Attending Project Design meetings
  • Coordinating with both project managers as well as workshop teams

The Person:

  • Experience with a variety of CAD packages (ideally, but not essentially, CABINET VISION)
  • A background within the joinery/manufacturing/furniture making/fit-out industry
  • Previous experience in a CAD Technician/Cabinet Maker/Bench Joiner role or similar
