Are you an Injection Mould Designer or Toolmaker looking to work on complex, high-precision tooling projects from concept through to manufacture?

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established and growing manufacturing company working within a modern, well-equipped engineering environment. The business specialises in precision injection mould tooling for a range of industries including medical, automotive, switchgear, and packaging.

In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of injection mould tools and components, ensuring all designs are optimised for manufacture, performance, and efficiency.

This role would suit an Injection Mould Designer or Similar looking to work on complex, high-precision tooling projects within a modern engineering environment, supporting a range of industries including medical, automotive, switchgear, and packaging.

The Role:

• Injection Mould Designer or Toolmaker with strong knowledge of high-precision mould tooling
• CAD user (Creo/Pro Engineer or SolidWorks) comfortable with 3D/2D design and DFM principles
• Engineer with good understanding of injection mould systems including side cores, lifters, steels, polymers, hydraulics, and hot runners

The person:

• Experience in injection mould tool design, ideally with a background in toolmaking
• Strong knowledge of injection mould tooling, including side cores, lifters, steel selection, polymers, hydraulics, hot runner systems, and machining strategies
• Commutable to Stevenage
