Are you a Health & Safety professional with a background in construction looking to join an established newbuild construction company where you’ll have a hands-on role in maintaining high safety standards across a varied portfolio of sites?

Do you enjoy working closely with site teams, carrying out inspections, completing risk assessments and acting as a trusted advisor to ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with current legislation?

The company are an established Lincoln-based property and construction business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Health & Safety Advisor to support their teams across construction sites and agricultural operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety professional who enjoys being out on-site, building strong relationships with operational teams and having the confidence to challenge unsafe practices while helping develop a positive safety culture across the business.

The Role:

• Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety legislation, company policies and procedures
• Carry out regular inspections across construction sites and farms
• Monitor site compliance with Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
• Assess risks associated with spontaneous or unplanned site activities and produce specific Method Statements where required
• Ensure weekly and monthly Health & Safety inspections are completed, recorded and appropriately filed
• Issue permits for temporary works, excavations, hot works and other controlled activities

The Person:

• NEBOSH certified
• Previous Health & Safety experience within the construction industry
• Knowledge of CDM regulations
