Are you a gearbox fitter from the commercial, plant or automotive industry looking to step into a role with a family-run tight-knit clutch and gearbox repair service offering across the board training, progression to managerial levels and extensive overtime and annual bonus to boost your earnings?

This well-established transmission service has been continually growing for the last 30 years and has become the first-choice mechanic throughout the Northwest. Due to ongoing success and rising customer demand, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Gearbox Fitter to join our expert team.

The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding automatic gearboxes in a busy workshop environment. You will carry out fault finding, use diagnostic equipment, and complete all work to a high standard while working efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

This role would suit a fitter from the Plant, Commercial or Automotive industry looking to join an established and growing gearbox repair company offering training to build a gear box from scratch and substantial overtime at 1.5X to boost your income.

The Role:

• Fitting automatic gear box’s
• Strip, inspect, and rebuild gearbox’s
• Carry out repairs and component replacements efficiently
• Training on Manual and building gearbox’s
• Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm
• Lots of Overtime available (1.5x)

The Person:

• Gearbox fitter from the Plant, Commercial or Automotive industry.
• Commutable to workshop (East Manchester)
