On offer is a full-time, permanent position with an established supplier of welding equipment and consumables, founded in 1992. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining welding machinery at customer sites across the UK. You will diagnose and resolve technical faults, carry out preventative maintenance, and ensure equipment operates efficiently to minimise downtime. Alongside hands-on service work, you will provide technical guidance and training to clients and complete detailed service reports. Monday – Thursday 7am – 4pm Friday 7am – 3:30

The role:

• Install and commission welding machinery at customer sites.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise equipment downtime.
• Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance inspections.
• Monday – Thursday 7am – 4pm Friday 7am – 3:30pm

The person:

• Full valid UK driving license
• Field service engineer or similar
• Commutable to Oldham
