Are you an Electronics Engineer from a Design background looking for an opportunity to step up into a senior position, in a role that offers specialist training on RF and FPGA design?

In this position you will be working in the Defence sector, designing cutting edge positioning and navigation technology. This will involve digital and analogue circuit design and verification working within the Hardware team. This is a senior position that will involve developing the junior members of the team and is a great chance to further develop your knowledge and progress your career in the future.

Right on the doorstep of the outstandingly beautiful Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, this company was established over three decades ago and has built a strong, long-lasting foundation in a niche and profitable industry. They supply positioning, navigation and timing technology across the Defence, Aerospace, Marine, Automotive and Security industries and are known for solving complex issues within satellite communication.

This role would suit an Electronics Design Engineer looking for a step up into a more responsible role that also allows for further technical development and ongoing career progression opportunities.

The Role:

• Working within the electronics hardware design team
• Designing new products and satellite communication technology
• Expert training on RF and FPGA design
• Tailored development plan to become a technical expert in RF and FPGA Design
• 37 hours per week, flexible working from a Heysham based office

The Person:

• Electronics or Mechatronics Design Engineer
• Analogue and Digital circuit design experience
• Training on RF and FPGA design
