Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with a consultancy background or similar experience, looking for an exciting new opportunity with a well-established company that’s been a pioneer in a competitive industry for over 50 years?

A great opportunity to join a well-respected engineering consultancy delivering high quality electrical design across multiple sectors. As they grow, especially in the fast moving data centre sector, you will help create innovative, sustainable solutions while contributing to high profile projects in a collaborative team.

In this role, you will inspect and test electrical installations, then write reports with your findings and recommendations. You will work with contractors and design teams to keep projects on track. Using software like Amtech or Pro Design, you will carry out calculations to ensure systems are safe and compliant. You will also prepare specifications and drawings for new projects, while supporting junior engineers and checking their work.

This role is ideal for an Electrical Design Engineer with a consultancy background or similar experience, looking to take on a key position within a dynamic and growing company that supports high-profile blue-chip clients across the UK.

THE ROLE

• Undertake engineering calculations using Amtech, Pro-Design, or equivalent software
• Survey, tests and reports on existing installations
• Preparing tender specifications and schematics
• Support more junior engineers

THE PERSON

• Experience in Amtech, Pro-Design or similar design Software
• Electrical Design Engineering experience in a consultant capacity
• Commutable to Harrow
