In this role, the successful CNC Turner/Programmer or similar will be responsible for both coding and editing CNC programs alongside testing new programs to ensure they perform correctly. In addition, you will be responsible for the setting, operating, troubleshooting and maintenance of said CNC machinery. To further this, you will also be responsible for programming measuring machinery, supporting junior engineers with programming applications where applicable. On top of this, you will be responsible for assisting in finding wats to improve the production machinery. Finally, you will be responsible for keeping accurate technical documentation of any projects worked.

The ideal CNC Turner/Programmer will come from a background within the manufacturing industry, specifically, the high accuracy, precision engineering sector or a related field. In addition, you will also have prior practical experience programming CNC machinery. On top of this, you will have the ability to read and understand CAD drawings, ideally, but not essentially, with prior experience using SolidWorks or a similar software. To further this, you will ideally have a working knowledge of a variety of metals, in this particular role, you will mainly work with titanium. Finally, you will have strong organisational, communicational and analytical skills, with the ability to work well both as part of a team and autonomously.
