This role would suit a skilled Centreless Grinder with experience setting and operating manual grinding machinery who is confident working from engineering drawings and manufacturing precision aerospace components to tight tolerances.

The Role

• Set and operate Centreless Grinding machinery
• Work with Wickman Scrivener, Ghiringhelli, Cincinnati or Tschadun grinders
• Support second-operation machinery including deburring, marking and inspection processes
• Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
• Manufacture precision aerospace components to tight tolerances
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

The Person

• Centreless Grinder / Grinder Setter / Grinder Operator background
• Aerospace or precision engineering manufacturing experience
• Experience setting and operating manual Centreless Grinding machinery
