With a 1pm finish every Friday, the role is whatever you make of it. There’s plenty of down time available, and you always have the option of overtime, paying a time and a half for the first 8 hours worked per week, and then double for any additional work should you want it.

In this role you will be on the digital side, powering the pioneering interiors and designs of one of the household names in the industry, with scope to get hands on and bring your designs to life for those proficient enough. With the creative freedom to do things your way, you can put your own creative stamp on the staple of interiors within the Stoke-on-Trent area. With the chance to become a mentor to junior designers and develop your leadership skills to pass on what you learn and build a solid foundation to pursue a career in management if you wish.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience with SolidWorks, SWOOD CAM and PDM, a background in cabinetry or experience with sheet metals.

The Role:

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using SolidWorks.
• Conduct site visits and surveys.
• Opportunities to mentor junior designers and get hands on.

The Person:

• Proficient in SolidWorks.
• Ready to get stuck in to designs with no need for training.
• Local to Stoke-on-Trent.
