In this role you will be responsible for developing PLC programs, HMI screenwriting and upgrades, providing SCADA support, and commissioning systems for a variety of clients. This role will be predominately working with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs, and you will be involved in the manufacturing process from initial concept through to commissioning.

This role would suit an Automation Engineer or similar, looking for a role in a family run advanced automation business, who supply their bespoke machinery on a worldwide scale, with the added benefits of increased holiday entitlement with service, overtime earning potential, and exposure to bespoke automation projects.

The Role

• Developing PLC programs, upgrading HMIs and providing SCADA support
• Commissioning bespoke systems at client sites
• 85% office based, 15% site based

The Person

• Automation Engineer or similar
• Willing to commute to client sites throughout the UK and abroad
• Full UK driving license
