Are you a Health & Safety Advisor looking to establish yourself as the go-to safety expert on a major new contract for a large international M&E specialist, with the autonomy to make your mark and support to achieve chartership and progress your career?

This established mechanical Engineering, Construction, and Electrical Engineering firm operating as a principal or subcontractor on prestigious projects throughout the UK for over 100 years. After recently being acquired, now is an exciting time to join a company with a huge amount of growth potential.

In this role you will be the stand-alone expert in Health and Safety for their new contract based in Peterhead. You will be supporting the EHS Manager in developing and enforcing EHS policies whilst leading H&S meetings, training and promoting improvement initiatives across operations all whilst keeping up to date records and practises.

This role would suit a Health and Safety Adviser or similar looking to join an established company at an exciting time where you will be their go-to expert in Peterhead for this contract and more to come

The Role:

• Coordinate and deliver EHS training and emergency response
• Support the EHS Manager in developing and enforcing EHS policies
• Conduct regular site inspections and Investigate incidents and near-misses
• Monday – Friday (8am-5pm)

The Person:

• NEBOSH qualified
• Experience with construction or M&E projects
