Are you a Field Service Engineer or similar from a mechanical, plant, HGV or ex-military background looking for a local patch where you’ll be home every evening?

Do you want to join a long-established company offering door-to-door pay, a company van, full manufacturer training and the opportunity to develop your mechanical skills across a range of machinery?

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established, independent forklift company specialising in the sales, servicing and hire of materials handling equipment across the South West. You will receive full in-house and manufacturer training, allowing you to build on your existing mechanical experience and develop specialist skills within the forklift industry.

In this role, you will travel to customer sites across Wiltshire and the surrounding areas, servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults, carry out inspections and provide breakdown support, working within a local patch where you will be home each evening.

This role would suit a Field Service Engineer, Ex-Military Engineer, HGV Technician, Plant Fitter or similar with a mechanical background, looking for a stable, field-based position offering door-to-door pay, specialist training and long-term career progression.

The Role:

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and materials handling equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Carry out inspections, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Travel to customer sites across Wiltshire and surrounding areas
• Local patch, door-to-door pay and full manufacturer training

The Person:

• Field Service Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Plant Fitter or similar
• Background in forklifts, plant, HGVs, agricultural machinery, heavy equipment, ex-military engineering or automotive maintenance
• Full UK driving licence
