Are you a Quality Inspector, or similar, looking to develop your skills within a specialist manufacturing business offering hands-on training, technical development and long-term career opportunities?

On offer is the opportunity to join an established precision engineering manufacturer specialising in CNC machining and the production of high-quality engineered components. Supplying into the Aerospace, Defence and Rail industries, the company continually invests in the latest technology.

You will be responsible for inspecting precision-machined components throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring products meet engineering drawings, dimensional tolerances and customer requirements.

Working closely with the Quality Manager and wider production team, you will carry out dimensional inspections, operate precision measuring equipment, complete quality documentation and support the investigation of non-conformances.

This role would suit a Quality Inspector with an engineering or manufacturing background, looking to develop their inspection and metrology skills.

The Role

• Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections of precision-machined components
• Interpret technical drawings, dimensional tolerances and GD&T requirements
• Operate CMM equipment and develop programming skills through training where appropriate
• Prepare and maintain First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and other quality documentation
• Support internal quality audits and compliance with AS9100 standards
• Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours a week

The Person

• Background working as a Quality Inspector or similar
• Experience operating CMM machinery
