Are you an Electrician, who is wanting to come off the tools, and receive full training within a growing Solar PV manufacturer on a range of software and the solar industry, to build you up to become an Estimator?

Do you enjoy working with contractors and interpreting technical requirements while having the autonomy of a hybrid role and the support of an experienced commercial and technical team?

The company are a UK solar manufacturer specialising in high-performance, roof-integrated solar solutions for the residential new-build market.

Through its various divisions, the company works closely with housebuilders and contractors across product specification, technical design, compliance, quality assurance, certification and delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business in a key commercial and technical position, working closely with the Regional Commercial Manager and Group Commercial Director.

The Role:

• Manage incoming tender enquiries from solar and roofing subcontractors bidding on residential new-build developments
• Apply established group pricing frameworks, rates, inclusions and exclusions to tender enquiries
• Interpret standard housebuilder house-type designs and align them with contractor requirements
• Prepare and return accurate quotations within agreed commercial deadlines
• Follow up live quotations with subcontractors to understand tender progress and project timelines
• Build relationships with contractor pricing teams and identify successful bidders and project outcomes

The Person:

• Previous experience in an electrical discipline
• Based in the West Midlands
