This role would suit an Applications Engineer with several years of experience in power systems, particularly substation protection, looking to develop their career within a customer-facing technical role involving training, technical support, product development and international travel.

The role:

• Provide product consultation, training and technical support on protection testing and diagnostic equipment
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on-site customer support relating to applications
• Develop and deliver product training through classroom sessions, field-based training and webinars
• Provide input into new products, product strategies, development and application requirements
• Develop application notes and technical papers and present at relevant seminars and conferences

The person:

• Applications Engineer or similar
• Several years of experience within power systems, particularly substation protection
• Basic understanding of IEC 61850
• Flexible and willing to travel internationally, with up to 50% travel
