Are you an experienced PMO or Programme Management professional with a background delivering complex engineering or product development projects?

Do you want to take ownership of a growing project portfolio, formalise and lead a PMO, and play a key role in shaping how a rapidly expanding renewable energy business delivers its projects?

This company is a rapidly expanding renewable energy business specialising in anaerobic digestion, biogas and biomethane technology, helping customers unlock greater value from renewable gas production. With continued growth and an expanding portfolio of internal engineering and external customer projects, they are looking for a Head of PMO to bring structureA, governance and strategic oversight to project delivery.

In this role, you will take ownership of the overall programme portfolio, establishing and maintaining consistent proAject delivery processes across the business. You will lead the PMO, oversee Project Managers and Data Analysts, manage programme performance and provide clear reporting to the Customer Operations Director and Senior Leadership Team.

You will have significant influence over project governance, resource planning, budgets, risks, schedules, KPIs and commercial performance, while working closely with engineering, procurement, supply chain and customer-facing teams to ensure projects are delivered effectively.

This role would suit a Head of PMO, PMO Lead, Programme Manager, Senior Project Manager or Project Management Lead with experience managing engineering, product development or technically complex projects who is looking for a senior position with genuine ownership and influence.

The Role:

• Lead and develop the company’s Project Management Office, establishing consistent project delivery processes and governance
• Oversee a portfolio of internal engineering, product development and external customer projects
• Develop and manage programme plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies and change control
• Monitor project cost, resource, quality, demand and delivery KPIs
• Lead resource and capacity planning across the business, ensuring the right skills are available for current and future projects
• Work closely with engineering, procurement and supply chain teams to coordinate project requirements and supplier performance
• Lead Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP), ensuring strategic materials and resources are aligned with delivery requirements

The Person:

• PMO Lead, Head of PMO, Programme Manager, Senior Project Manager, Project Management Lead or similar
• Proven experience running or implementing a PMO
• Experience delivering engineering, product development or technically complex projects
