Are you a Design Engineer or similar, with experience using SolidWorks or Solid Edge CAD, looking to join a close-knit and collaborative company, where you be able to support the full product lifecycle from early-stage concepts through to final design release, with clear progression paths to head of product development?

In this role you will play a key role in the Design process from initial concept through to design release. You will be responsible for developing high-quality 3D models, assemblies, and engineering models, as well as playing a key role in prototype builds, testing, and validation of proposed products.

This role would suit a Product Design Engineer or similar, looking for an autonomous role where you will be the technical go-to for all company Design needs, at a family-owned manufacturing business, with the added benefits of in-house training on the company’s expertise, career progression into senior roles, and an annual bonus.

The Role

• Working on the full design process from initial concept through to design release
• Developing 3D models, assemblies, and engineering models
• Working on prototype builds, testing, and validation of proposed products

The Person

• Design engineer or similar, with experience using SolidWorks or Solid Edge CAD
• Looking for a role with exposure to the full Product Desing process and clear progression paths to senior positions
• Commutable distance to Newton abbot
