Are you a Mechanical Fitter / Assembler with experience on working on manual or CNC machines looking to step into a role with a national machine tool distributor offering an optional workshop or field based role and a great work-life balance with guaranteed bonus and overtime to boost your income significantly?

This is chance to join a well-established machine tools specialist covering all types of manual and CNC machinery from drilling equipment to boring machines. Holding one of the largest stocks of used machine tools in the UK, they are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their tight-knit team of 10 to service specialist machinery.

In this role you can choose on being in the field nationwide or being workshop based in Shildon. You will be assembling, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing a range of manual and CNC machinery including lathes, milling machines, grinders and radial ARM drills. This role is 8am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs with a 2:30pm finish on Friday which will soon be changed to 12pm.

This role would suit a Mechanical Fitter from a manual or CNC machine background looking to join a company offering a great work-life balance and guaranteed ways to boost your income further.

The Role:

• Assembling, maintaining and repairing manual and CNC machinery
• You can choose either workshop based or field based
• 5 hours of overtime available each week at 1.3x pay
• Mon-Thurs (8am-4:30pm) and early finish on Friday (2:30pm)

The Person:

• Mechanical Fitter or Assembler with experience on manual / CNC machinery
• Willing to commute to workshop in Shildon
